Drawing inspiration from this quote:

“A simple rule that makes life easier: Always strive to give value before you ask for value.” — James Clear

I designed this micro-course with four micro-lessons around the exploration of “Cultivating Value-First Habits” and how prioritizing value can enhance our professional relationships and workplace culture.

The idea, if you want to use these with your own team, is to release one micro-lesson per week, using the quote above as the introduction. Each lesson in this post builds upon the previous one.

01 — Understanding Value in Professional Relationships

What Does it Mean to Give (or add) Value?

Giving value involves contributing positively to others in a way that enhances their work experience, supports their goals, or makes their tasks easier. This can be done through various means, such as sharing knowledge, offering help, or providing constructive feedback.

Small actions can make the biggest impact!

Some Ways to Give Value:

Share Your Knowledge
Offer insights or information that can help your colleagues solve problems or improve their work.
