The Spirit of Bees

A tiny inspiration by tiny creatures

A shot from my CoffeeWithJaimee daily ‘doodle over dried coffee spills’ journal.

I’ve heard that bees are purpose and goal-oriented, every bee in a hive has a specific role and purpose, contributing to the overall health of the colony.

This is inspiring to me and makes me wonder what I can do to practice being (bee-ing) more bee-like in this way.

I’ve written a draft of my second book.
It’s called “6 steps to total world domination. Or at least getting unstuck.”

I’ve put off finishing it for reasons I can’t explain.

It’s about 90% complete.

I think I need to “Bee” my way to the finish line.

  • Set a clear goal. ✅
  • Break the goal into clear (but small) daily tasks.
  • Take one small action every day.

It’s funny to know intellectually what needs to be done yet struggle with the execution.

Do you think bees experience that, too?

Are there little bees out there who doubt their self-worth or have bad days?Or are they too busy for that sort of thing?

Writing this post helped me realize that I could potentially use my daily practice (the daily doodle journal) to complete this project.
