This is the third post following my ‘personal challenge’ journey of writing more consistently and the bonus challenge of completing three short books I started writing years ago. I want to share how it’s going.

Personal Challenge #1–Write more consistently

Initially, I planned to write a post once per month. In November, I managed two posts, and through December, I’ve posted once per week.

I don’t know if weekly is sustainable, but I’m rolling with it as long as possible. I like the rhythm but worry I’ll run out of things to write about.

I’ve also been keeping a not-quite-daily-but-almost “doodle journal” over on Instagram. The doodle journal has been a fantastic outlet and way to find my rhythm with writing again. It also helps ease the concern of not having enough to write about; as an almost daily source of what I’m thinking and feeling, it keeps me full of things I can elaborate upon.

Challenge #2–Book progress

My first little book is now complete! The second book is in-progress.

Getting to the finish line with this has taken a lot of work and help from others. I’ve loved working through the process with this first one, and I think it will help me move through book two more swiftly. It’s astounding how much time it…
