I love this post, thank you!
I am so timid about sharing "money" conversations. I'm slowly trying to figure out how talk about money through various posts, without it coming off in the wrong tone (I don't like the super cocky "You're doing it wrong, do it this way" style.) It definitely takes a lot of practice and I have so much to learn.
I was lucky enough to "retire" at age 38. I had enough to leave my day job and pour time/focus into new things, and really pour focus on owning my time, which led to working on a 'side hustle' with my boyfriend back in 2016–it went viral the day it launched. I've written about that story quite a few times, in different ways but never really touch on the money aspects. I'm 47 now and constantly experimenting with learning and sharing as I go.
I've also been inspired by Rocco Pendola's writing! And discovering your stories has been equally inspiring for me to start figuring out how to share my own financial journey.
I'm not a part of any money or finance communities (I signed up to post for Millionaire in the Making but never got added, so I figure I'll just keep doing stuff in my own little corner here.) :p
Anyway, thank you for sharing and for the inspiration!
